ILL-FATED YEMENIA BLACK BOXES MEMORIES TO BE READ

SANA'A, Sep. 13 (Saba)- The Higher Commission for Civil Aviation
Accidents (HCCAA) reported on Sunday that they have managed to
retrieve contents of the black boxes of the Yemenia plane which
crashed offshore the Comoros end of June, 2009.

In a press release, the HCCAA said that "the two black boxes are
currently under analysis carried out by the Yemeni, French and
Comorian investigation team in Paris."

The Committee pointed out that 61 bodies have been taken out of the
sea bottom with the help of a specialized US well-equipped ship, in
addition to some plane debris which would be handy in the
investigation process.

The recovered jet's pieces are kept in a safe place in the Comoros
till the arrival of the joint investigation team, the press release
added.
