BCEL runs new gold trading service
(KPL) The Banque pour le Commerce Exterieur Lao (BCEL) launched new gold trading service with the aim of meeting the needs of customers wishing to invest or trading in gold.
The Director General of the Lao Central Bank, Mr Phouphet Khamphounvong said during the inauguration of the new service of gold trading, Vientiane Capital, on 9 September.
The gold transaction service of the BCEL will offer a good opportunity for investors to trade gold in international markets.
The bank will represent investors wishing to trade gold in international markets.
The bank will also provide clients with market information, including gold prices in international market, primarily target financial markets in Hong Kong, Zurich, London, and New York.
So far the BCEL have operated E-banking such as Phone-Banking, Mobile-Banking, Internet-Banking, and Money Gram.
