Green light to green caravan

Astana, September 15, 2009 (Khabar) - According to the instructions of the President of RK, Ministry for Interior Affairs organized convoy of auto caravans with agricultural products from south to northern and central regions. Kairat Tynybekov, chairman of Committee of traffic police has told this during the briefing. Traffic policemen will convoy the auto columns till destination. The members of “Nur Otan” party will also control the process, monitoring and anonymous poll of drivers about situation on roads and bribe taking is also carried out among drivers. Chairman of Committee of traffic police has told about results of “Attention, children!” campaign that ended on September 4. Traffic policemen and educational officials had inspected over 7 000 schools and territory nearby them.

- About 400 posts of traffic police worked near schools every day and over 65 000 violations of traffic rules were revealed.
