PRESIDENT RECEIVES LETTER FROM SUDANESE COUNTERPART

SANA'A, Sep. 17 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on
Thursday a letter from his Sudanese counterpart Umar al-Bashirto
over bilateral relation and mutual cooperation between the two
countries.

The letter - handed over by Mustafa Othman, advisor of Sudanese
president during his meeting with president Saleh - also dealt with
current developments in Sudan and situation in Somali and Palestine.

The letter confirmed support of Sudan for security and stability of
Yemen.

President Saleh highlighted historical relationship between Yemen
and Sudan, appreciating Sudan's support for Yemen.

He asked the Sudanese official to convey his regards to the Sudanese
president and wish of good health and more progress and prosperity
for the Sudanese people.
