NOORDIN`S WIFE TO COME TO JAKARTA

Kuala Lumpur, Sept 18 (ANTARA) - The first wife of Noordin M Top, Siti Rahma, will come to Jakarta to claim the body of her late husband after receiving word from the Indonesian government that a DNA test has confirmed he was was killed in a raid in Solo on Thursday night.

Noordin's body would be handed to the Malaysian embassy in Jakarta after the issuance of his death certificate and his body had been preserved, a spokesman of Noordin's family here said.

"That is the result of a family meeting last night. The family will send Noordin's wife, Siti Rahma, along with Yahya, her brother, to Jakarta. The time of their departure depends on when the Indonesian government announces the DNA test result," said the family's spokesman, Badaruddin Ismail, Friday.

Terror mastermind Noordin M Top was gunned down in Kepuhsari village, Jebres subdistrict, Solo, on Thursday (Sept 17) in a six- hour raid by the Police's Special Detachment (Densus) 88 anti terror unit.

Noordin's body is to be buried in the Pontian area, Johor Bahru, close to where his family and wife live. During his nine-year stay in Indonesia, Noordin had also married two Indonesian women.

Siti Rahma actually hails from Riau, Indonesia. She is also a sister of Mohammad Rois , a "Jamaah Islamiyah" member who worked as a teacher at the Luqmanul Hakiem Islamic Boarding School in Malaysia.

Noordin also spent some time teaching at Luqmanul Hakiem Islamic Boarding School , while Siti Rahma and her family had been living in Sungai Tiramwhile , Johor Bahru, Malaysia since 2005.

Beside Siti Rahma, Noordin was also married to Munfiatun, a woman from Pecagaan Kulon, Jepara, East Java.

Southeast Asia's most wanted terrorist is also known to be married to Ariani Rahma alias Arina from Pesuruan village, Binangun subdistrict, Cilacap, Central Java. ***
