N. Korean delegation departs for U.N.

SEOUL, Sept. 19 (Yonhap) -- A North Korean delegation has embarked on a trip to
the United States to attend an upcoming session of the United Nations general
assembly, state media said Saturday.
The delegation led by Pak Kil-yon, vice minister of foreign affairs, left
Pyongyang on Friday to attend the 64th U.N. assembly session, said the Korean
Central News Agency. The gathering of the world body, headed by South Korean
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, is set for Tuesday in New York.
