Chinese investor to plant rubber tree on 2,400 ha in Savannakhet province
(KPL) The Lao PDR has agreed recently to offer 2,400 ha of cultivation area in Sepone district, Savannakhet province to the Chinese investor for rubber tree plantation and rubber processing factory.
The MoU on the said project was signed in Vientiane on 16 September between Mr. Thongmy Phommisay, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment and representative of Yong Shiang Economic and Trade Development Company of China.The project will run for 45 years.
