Iran`s uranium plant runs counter to UN SC demands - Medvedev.

PITTSBURG, September 26 (Itar-Tass) -- Iran's construction of a new
uranium enrichment plant "runs counter to the demands of the UN Security
Council, and Russia, together with the other participants in the sextet,
believes that the IAEA must inspect this facility," Russian President
Dmitry Medvedev told the final conference ending his visit to the United
States, where he participated in the UN General Assembly session and the
G20 summit.
"The news about this new plant came as a surprise to all. It was a
classified construction project, and this is the most grave aspect in this
situation," he said. "If Iran fails to demonstrate its wish to cooperate,
we must create comfortable conditions for it to encourage cooperation, a
system of incentives. If the incentives fail, too, then other mechanisms
will be harnessed, the ones I have already mentioned."
