Working trip of Minister of Defence of RK

Aktobe, October 02, 2009 (Khabar) - Minister of Defence of RK, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov has carried out a working trip to the Aktobe garrison. He has visited Institute of Air Defence and artillery brigade where he got acquainted with conditions of military service. The Talgat Bigeldinov Institute of Air Defence was founded in 1996 on the basis of Aktobe highest pilot college of civil aviation. In 2005, the military institute was included into the list of institutions of joint military training for the armed forces of the country-members of Collective Security Treaty (OCST). Sixteen students from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan study here according to this program. Future pilots are taught not only piloting and conducting of air fighting but also the technical exploitation of aircrafts. The Minister has noted the development of the Air Forces is one of the priorities of protecting the economic interests and territorial integrity of Kazakhstan.
