33 World War II veterans have received flats

Kokshetau, October 02, 2009 (Khabar) - In Kokshetau, on the International Day of Older Persons 33 World War II veterans have received keys from new apartments. Governor of the region, Albert Rau has congratulated them on holiday and housewarming. He has noted that this is only a fraction of the enormous gratitude that veterans deserve. The new 35-apartment house is located in a modern micro district. Family-outpatient clinics is opened on the ground floor so that residents will be able to receive medical aid without leaving home. 230 veterans live in the regional center now and all of them live in their own homes. The next year the municipal administration promises not only to provide all regional veterans with houses but also to pay for their utility bills. At present the regional budget pays for half of the utility costs of veterans.
