S. Korean coast guard seizes Chinese fishing boats

INCHEON, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean coast guard said Friday it has
seized four Chinese fishing boats poaching in the country's exclusive economic
zone (EEZ).

The vessels were found illegally fishing in waters 37km southwest of the South
Korean island of Yeonpyeong in the Yellow Sea around 5 a.m., it said.
Coast guard officials said they were investigating the Chinese poachers.
