Bikers visit an orphanage

Almaty, October 05, 2009, Khabar - Almaty bikers have paid a visit to the Zhanuya specialist complex.

Dmitriy Petrukhin, President, Kazakhstan Bikers’ Club:
- They are orphans and they haven’t seen much. I met orphans, pupils and students and I told them about traffic safety and my round-the-world trip. We gave those pupils a ride on the motorcycles and they showed us performances. It is so moving. You can see how they love such communication.

The bikers never come to see the orphans without bringing presents. They always bring toys and computers. However, these are not the most important thing as children start dreaming of their own motorcycles and carefully keep the biker t-shirts given to them as presents.

Sonya Shimkova, pupil of Zhanuya specialised complex:
- We love bikers very much. They gave us such beautiful t-shirts. They gave us a ride. It was great. They love us and we love them. Thank you.

Galiya Sapargaliyeva, acting director, Zhanuya specialised complex:
- They bring so many emotions and so much happiness. Even during times of crisis, these busy people who have jobs and families come here to visit our children.
