“Kazakhelecom” installs telephones in villages
Kyzylorda region, October 05, 2009, Khabar - One of the projects of “30 corporate leaders” program is realized by “Kazakhtelecom” company.
Its aim is development and modernization of telecommunication lines in remote areas of country. More than 100 thousand people in Kyzylorda region use the “Kazakhtelecom” services. 42 thousand of them live in villages. The representatives of “Nur Otan” party have recently visited Kozhabahy region to observe how the CDMA-450 wireless technology works there. This standard has helped to provide telephones in many distant places.
Sadibek Baltabayuly, general director of “Kazaktelecom” in Kyzylorda region:
- According to the task of the head of state our “Kazakhtelecom” implements actions to install telephones in distant villages. The base stantion CDMA-450 is placed. Its capacity is 1000 numbers. There are 750 users of the services. Last year we installed 10 base stations with 1000 numbers capacity, and we plan to install 26 more this year.
The project of “Kazakhtelecom” of modernization with help of CDMA-450 technology is realized in 79 villages of Kyzylorda region. There are 227 base stations all over Kazakhstan that made possible to connect more than 122 thousand citizens to the phone intercommunication.
Medet Kozhakhmetov, the resident of Kozhabahy village:
- Now we have the Internet at school and at home. And we are very glad. Whole world is in full view, we’ve been waiting so long for it.
“Kazakhstalecom” also pays attention to social projects. This year the exclusive program of studying of children from “Chernobyl and Aral» fund is being implemented. Also the representatives of the company promises to provide all the schools in the region with telephones.
