Petroleum market issues were discussed in the government
Astana, October 05, 2009, khabar - Problems with gasoline deliveries have begun last week in Almaty, has noted Akhmetzhan Esimov. The Prime Minister Karim Massimov has charged Ministry of Energy and “Kazmunaygaz” to supervise the situation. At the same time the growth of a total internal product was called the key objective of the ministries and departments. According to the Prime Minister, the government has overcome the main problem of this year – the increase of unemployment. It was solved with help of national companies, enterprise and government departments. And now it is important to concentrate attention on the next aim – the GDP growth.
Karim Massimov, Prime Minister of RK:
- All the forces should be sent to internal product growth solution. However, we should not forget about other issues. I ask akims to control these tasks every week. We will conclude the figures twice every month.
Firstly, akims should pay attention on such economic sectors as construction and trade. Bakhyt Sultanov noted that the indexes in those spheres are lower than it was forecasted.
Bakhyt Sultanov, Minister of Economic Affairs and Budget Planning, RK:
- There are reserves where executive departments can work considering the fact that a small and average business is the most part of them. For these aims work with real sector enterprises should be activated.
Government plans to get the growth of gross national product by 1.1 % in the third quarter of this year, in the fourth quarter this indicator should reach 3%. Positive dynamics is already marked in many market branches. The increase of precious metals and oil extraction is forecasted. The volume of industrial production is going to be more than 99%, the mining production - about 104.5%. The Ministry Of Agriculture plans 6 per cent increase in the agroindustrial complex.
Akylbek Kuryshbayev. Minister of Agriculture of RK:
- It is aimed to reach 3 per cent GDP increase. Previously we have planned 4.8 per cent growth. And now taking into account the actual harvest and the forthcoming oil-bearing crop, it is possible to get about 6 per cent GDP growth in the agriculture.
For today the crop volume in bunker weight is about twenty and half million tons. It is one the best results of last five years.
