Kazakhstan and France deputies’ meeting
Astana, October 06, 2009, Khabar - Kazakhstani Senate and French deputies’ delegation have discussed the perspectives of bilateral relations and development of parliaments’ cooperation. The representatives of both countries think that Nicolas Sarkozy’s visit to Kazakhstan will give a new impulse to partnership of two countries in political, economical and cultural spheres.
Thierry Mariani, deputy of Senate of France, the president of “France-Kazakhstan” group:
- The presidency of Kazakhstan in OSCE in 2010 is a symbolical step. That is the first time when the country of Central Asia is the head of this organization – here I can see the recognition of whole world. After observing of Kazakhstan’s development other countries have supported a nominee of your President on this post and recognized his program «The Way to Europe».
