Meeting of Kazakhstan and France foreign policy departments’ heads
Astana, October 06, 2009, Khabar - Interaction of two countries - Kazakhstan and France - has been discussed today by the State secretary of Kazakhstan Kanat Saudabayev and the head of foreign policy department of France Bernard Kushner.
Kanat Saudabayev, State secretary, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan:
- Today we have agreed about very close work of realization of historical agreements that our leaders have signed. Especially I want to thank the French side for the readiness to help Kazakhstan as a leader of OSCE in 2010. The objectives are clear for us, and now we are going to work a lot.
Bernard Kushner, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of French Republic:
- We are glad to establish the political dialogue between our countries before the presidency of Kazakhstan in the Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe. The delegation from France will come here on 15 of October to solve the concrete issues. The work will touch the projects of OSCE in Afghanistan and the security in the region as a whole. Also we will consider the human rights issues.
Five agreements between countries have been signed today. Among of them are treatments about the visa regime simplification, joint struggle against criminality and corruption, cooperation in sphere of emergency situations and military area.
