Party cooperation

Ankara, October 07, 2009 (Khabar)- At an extended congress of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey in Ankara, the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey is eager to arrange friendly relations with its neighbors. At the congress, Kazakhstan was represented by the Nur Otan Party secretary, Yerlan Karin and the deputy head of the party’s central office, Mukhtar Yerman. The Justice and Development Party administration underlined the significance of developing Kazakhstan-Turkish relations. The address of the head of state was read out at the meeting. The Turkish side supported the Kazakhstan president’s initiatives on the creation of the council of cooperation of Turkic states. As part of the discussions at the congress, its participants mentioned some new thesis regarding economic and further integration of various ethnic groups.

Yerlan Karin, Nur Otan party secretary:
- It is very important for us to cooperate with Turkish political parties because Turkey and Kazakhstan are strategic partners. We have an effective and deep cooperation in various directions.

Many of the congress participants said that historic roots are the reason for the joint construction of the present and the future. Nur Otan and the Justice and Development Party of Turkey agreed on the necessity of signing a memorandum of party cooperation.
