CARLA BRUNI DELIGTED HER ALBUM IS ON MALAYSIA AIRLINES

PARIS, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak was on the
phone to convey a piece of information that obviously delighted French President
Nicolas Sarkozy's wife, Carla Bruni.

Bruni, a songwriter, singer and former model, was delighted when Najib told
her that Malaysia Airlines was playing her album.

It all happened when Najib and Sarkozy met on Wednesday at the Elysee
Palace.

When Najib told Sarkozy that the Malaysian national carrier was playing
Bruni's album on its flights, Sarkozy insisted that Najib tell his wife
personally.

"He (Sarkozy) said why don't you talk to my wife and tell her personally.
Then he pulled me aside...put the call through, then I spoke to his wife.

"And she was delighted that her album is being played by Malaysia Airlines,"
Najib, who is on a four-day visit to France which ended Wednesday, told
reporters.
