MICROSOFT MALAYSIA LAUNCHES NEW WINDOWS-BASED PHONES
PETALING JAYA, Oct 9 (Bernama) -- Microsoft Malaysia Sdn Bhd Friday launched
a new line of phones based on the Windows operating system.
The Internet-oriented phones with finger-touch navigator provide users with
digital information, communications, applications and entertainment, said
Microsoft Malaysia's chief marketing and operations officer Yasir Yousuff.
Yasir said Microsoft was expecting its partners to deliver more than 30 new
phones in more than 20 countries with the Windows system by end of this year.
"Our partners like Asus, Celcom, HTC and Samsung are working very hard to
keep up production as we are maintaining our growth in the market," he said.
He was speaking to reporters after the launch of the Windows-based phones at
the Sunway Pyramid shopping complex here Friday.
