Prince Saud Al-Faisal Receives Italian Foreign Minister

Riyadh, October 14, SPA--Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of
Foreign Affairs received here today Italian Foreign Minister Franco
Frattini.
During the meeting, they discussed the results of the meetings of
Saudi-Italian Joint Committee co-chaired by the Italian Foreign
Minister and Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf.
The two ministers expressed their satisfaction over the
Committee's works and roles in developing relations between the two
countries and deepening economic, cultural, commercial fields as well
as other important and joint areas between the two countries.
The meeting also dealt with regional and international issues
of common concern, particularly pushing ahead the peace process in
the Middle East according to the internationally agreed principles,
as well as regional and international efforts in freeing the Gulf
Region and the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
