According to financial police the most part of the counterfeit money withdrawn from illegal circulation - denominations a face-value two and ten thousand tenge. Murat Zhumanbai, the official representative of Agency on struggle against economic and corruption criminality:
- For nine months of current year on such facts 102 criminal cases are raised, 42 criminal cases are directed to court. From the beginning of year counterfeit monetary banknotes for the sum of 7 million 900 000 tenge withdrawn that on 83,5 % there is more than indicator of the similar period of last year. Besides, it is withdrawn 21 000 false US dollars that also exceeds an indicator of last year on 91 %
In Almaty financial policemen have stopped activity of the counterfeiters, marketing counterfeit tenge and US dollars in large volumes.
Also was informed that the financial police carries out operative and verifying actions in a network of shops "Altyn". Under the data published in the Russian mass-media, "Altyn" management is suspected of contraband of gold, the neighboring country authorities have already excited criminal case, and some persons are already in custody. Shops of a network "Altyn" work in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates.
