HOTEL SULTAN CATCHES FIRE
Jakarta, Oct 17 (ANTARA) - Hotel Sultan on Jl Gatot Subroto, Central Jakarta, caught fire early Saturday but no casualty was reported.
The fire started at 00.40 a.m. and was put out at 03.30 a.m., spokesman for the Central Jakarta Fire Department Adi Nugroho said.
"Eight fire trucks were sent to the scene and the blaze has been put out now," he said.
The blaze started from the five-star hotel's kitchen on the ground floor and later spread to the other floors, he said.
It was believed the fire was caused by a power short circuit.***
