President's brother to visit Indonesia as special envoy

SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Myung-bak's elder brother, Rep. Lee
Sang-deuk, embarked on a four-day trip to Indonesia Sunday as a special
presidential envoy to the inauguration ceremony of Indonesian President Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono.

The legislator is carrying a personal message from the president to the
Indonesian leader, who was reelected to a five-year term in July, according to
his aides. The inauguration ceremony will be held Tuesday.
The representative's trip to Jakarta comes as the South Korean president is set
to embark on a three-nation trip to Southeast Asia this week that will take him
to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
Both the South Korean president and Yudhoyono are set to take part in the annual
regional forum of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to be held on
Thailand's resort island of Hua Hin on Saturday.
