BAKU TO HOST FIRST GARA GARAYEV INTERNATIONAL CONTEST AND CONFERENCE
Baku, October 18 (AzerTAc). The first Gara Garayev international contest for young pianists and first international conference “Piano in creative activity of Gara Garayev” will be held here on April 19-30 next year.
The contest and conference are dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Uzeyir Hajibeyov Baku Musical Academy and 30th anniversary of the Secondary Special Musical Studio-School. Musicians aged 10-25 will participate in the contest.
The conference and contest organized by the Ministry of Education will be supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Union of Composers.
