Laos-Thailand co-operation on culture expands
(KPL) A meeting to further the cultural co-operation between the Lao PDR and the Kingdom of Thailand was held in Vientiane on 17 October.
The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Mounkeo Oraboun, Minister of Information and Culture, and Mr. Teera Slukpetch, Minister of Culture of Thailand.
At the meeting, the sides informed each other of their respective situation on cultural development made in the past few years.
They also discussed a number of future co-operation projects, especially the projects on cultural exchange which is aimed at strengthening the friendly relation and co-operation between Laos and Thailand.
