AZERBAIJAN, KOREA DISCUSS PROSPECTS FOR EDUCATIONAL COOPERATION
Baku, October 21 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Education Misir Mardanov has met Head of section for education abroad at the Korean Ministry of Education Sin Kang Tak to explore prospects for deepening the bilateral educational cooperation.
The Azeri minister stressed Korea`s role in assisting Azerbaijan in applying new technologies in its education system.
Mardanov also touched upon the exchange of students, saying “more than 60 Azerbaijanis are today studying in Korean Universities”.
Sin Kang Tak said Korea places a particular emphasis on development of relations with Azerbaijan, in particular in the field of education.
He echoed the Azeri minister`s words, saying “it is important that we be more active in conducting the exchange of students between our higher educational institutions”.
