MONUMENT TO MUSLIM MAGOMAYEV TO BE UNVEILED
Baku, October 21 (AzerTAc). A monument to the world-known Azeri signer Muslim Magomayev will be erected in the Alley of Honors, on October 22, press-service of Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.
Monument was made by sculptor, people`s artist Omar Eldarov. A commemorative evening will bring together Azerbaijani officials and figures of culture, spouse of the late Tamara Sinyavskaya and his daughter Marina, officials and artists from Russia.
Muslim Magomayev died in Moscow, Russia on October 25, 2008. He was buried in his native land – Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
