Conference on international consent in Uralsk

Uralsk, October 21, 2009 (Khabar) - Representatives of Minor Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and the youth organizations have taken part in conference’s work. The question of work of ethno cultural centers, achievements of Minor Assembly and its plans for the future, forthcoming 15 session of Assembly which will pass in Astana on October, 26th was discussed at the conference. This date is not casual, as last year President Nursultan Nazarbayev has signed the law on giving of the new constitutional status to Assembly. It means that now it has possibility to develop legislative offers and to prepare recommendations in Parliament. Also the role of the Assembly in regions was discussed. For example, representatives of 86 nationalities, 29 ethno cultural centers work in the West Kazakhstan region. Participants of conference said that now the Kazakhstan’s experience in area of maintenance interethnic and inter-confessional unities is appreciated in many foreign countries.
