Inter-party cooperation
Vienna, October 21, 2009 (Khabar) - Vienna has hosted a delegation of the Nur Otan People’s Democratic Party headed by its first deputy chairman Darkhan Kaletayev. As part of the meeting, the delegation met with officials of the Social Democratic Party of Austria as well as with the OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut. At a meeting with the head of the Social Democratic Party of Austria, which was founded in 1889 and appears to be the largest and dominant party of the country, it was noted that the two parties have a lot of similarities in terms of its programs and the participation of Nur Otan in the European Party movement.
Darkhan Kaletayev, deputy chairman of Nur Otan People Democratic Party:
- We had a very constructive dialogue. Taking into account the forthcoming chairmanship of our country in the OSCE, the attendees were talking about a party cooperation plan and grounds for policy instruments in particular. I believe that our cooperation with the political parties of Austria will be very fruitful.

- With the reference to the “Way to Europe” program, this was initiated by the head of state, the Nur Otan Party, as a driving force of Kazakhstan should become an active participant in the implementation of this program. The next year will be like a test for us.
It is well known that political parties in Europe have been actively participating in the development of different decisions as part of the European Union, the European Parliament and other organizations for a long time. Every party has several platforms, which are dealing with different ideological programs and economic strategies. Since the Nur Otan party has been expanding its horizons, such prospects are also quite real for them.
