Interstate cooperation of Kazakhstan and Japan
Astana, October 21, 2009 (Khabar) - Economic cooperation and interaction on the global arena have served as the main topics at a meeting of the secretary of state of Kazakhstan and Deputy Minster for the Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. Additionally, Hiroyuki Ishige and Kanat Saudabayev discussed the implementation of agreements, which were reached during the official visit of Nursultan Nazarbayev to Japan in 2008.
Hiroyuki Ishige, Deputy Minster for Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan:
- Tomorrow we will hold our first meeting at a private government level. This meeting will boost the development of trade and investment relations between Japan and Kazakhstan. Despite the global financial crisis, our countries have a strong foundation for the development of trade and investments.
