Astana, October 22, 2009 (Khabar) - Deputies of Senate have approved the ratification of agreement on loan from Asia Development Bank. 500 million US dollars would be given to our country for financing of republican budget deficit and realization of government’s anti-crisis program. The loan will help to solve several strategic problems: a creation of workplaces, re-structuring of second level banks, realization of infrastructural projects and agricultural development. Money will be available in November. Asia Development Bank will monitor and estimate finance sector indexes and anti-crisis program implementation.
Deputies have also approved the ratification of agreement on re-structuring the part of 58 kilometers length “Boarder of South Kazakhstan region – Taraz” road within the project “Western Europe – Western China”. Islamic Development Bank gives a 170 million US dollars loan for this aim. The total length of “Western Europe – Western China” road is 8,445 kilometers, one third of it goes through Kazakhstan. Proposed vehicle transitional limit of new road is 20-25 thousand cars a day.

- This will be cement-concrete road covering of high quality that can be used without repair for 20 years. Budget means are accounted in depth with the participation of Finance Ministry. The road construction will start in March 2010 and is planned to be finished by the end of 2012.
