GCC Naval chiefs holds coordination meeting

Jeddah, October 24, SPA-- The Commanders of the GCC Naval Forces held here today
their second coordination meeting. Prince Admiral, Fahd bin Abdullah bin Mohammed
Al Sad, Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces ( RSNF) attended the meeting.

The meeting dealt with follow up of the recommendations of the Riyadh Declaration
issued on June 26, 2009 to enhance cooperation between the naval forces in member
countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and coordinate positions on all
aspects of maritime security to combat piracy.

The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar,
Bahrain and Oman.
