Laki Kesoglu holds concert in Almaty
Almaty, October 24, 2009 (Khabar) - The Dzhambul Kazakh State Philharmonic Society has staged Laki Kesoglu’s creative evening. “Song is my soul” – that was the name of the concert. People who came to the concert told only the best words in address to Kesoglu.
- May his singing last forever as every song by him is always great.
- Since his graduation from conservatory, all of his songs have been loved by people all over the country.
- We love him because he is a very good teacher at the Zhurgenev academy.
Singing is his childhood dream. When he was a teenager, he was very shy. Sometimes he was standing at the mirror crying. He was afraid of appearing on stage. In 1964, being a conservatory student, he had his first concert alongside the Kazakh radio and television symphonic orchestra. 8 years later, he sang at the Column hall of the House of Soviets in Moscow after which he became famous all over the country. Ever since that moment, he has lived for the good of people.
Laki Kesoglu, People’s artiste of RK:
- I love singing on stage as it always inspires me much. If the audience greets an entertainer well and they know him it is pleasure for any artiste. I think that my long-lasting success on stage is the result of my good vocal background which helps me keep in form.
Laki Kesoglu was also congratulated by the Minister for Education and Culture and the Minister for Information. Some talented trainees of the singer also performed on stage singing beautiful songs. Introducing one of the songs, Laki Kesoglu thought for a while and said: “let’s not talk. Let the music say everything.”
