U.N. Official Praises Cooperation between Saudi Arabia and U.N.

Riyadh, October 24, SPA -- The Resident Representative of United Nations in the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Coordinator of U.N. Developmental Program, Dr Riad
Moussa Al-Ahmad has praised fruitful and constructive cooperation between the
Kingdom and the United Nations, noting that there has been cooperation in nearly 20
developmental programs in the Kingdom.

In a statement to The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and in a ceremony held here on the
sidelines of the 64th anniversary of the foundation of the United Nations, he
pointed out that there has been cooperation at the highest levels in the areas of
development in the Kingdom, noting that the United Nations has been seeking to
bring the expertise needed for the Kingdom.

He added that the United Nations has been seeking to provide the Kingdom with all
needed sectoral support including rural development and assistance in economic
policies.
