AZERBAIJAN PARTICIPATES AT INTERNATIONAL CULTURE FESTIVAL IN CHINA RENMIN UNIVERSITY
Baku, October 27 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan was represented at International Culture Festival in China Renmin Univerity, Embassy of Azerbaijan in China reported.
The events aimed to develop culture relations between different countries.
During the festival, foreign students who get education in China performed their countries’ folk music and dancing. A group of Azerbaijani students who study in China performed Azerbaijan’s national dancing as well. Stand reflecting Azerbaijan’s national clothes, portraits of the Azerbaijan art and culture representatives, renowned Azeri writers and poets were shown during the festival.
Azerbaijan ambassador to China Yashar Aliyev also attended the festival.
He informed the guests about Azerbaijani culture, art and tourism opportunities. CD’s, books, journals and photos, as well as “Azerbaijan’s Tales” books, prepared by the “Shusha” Culture Center, functioning at the Azerbaijan Embassy in China were presented to the participants of the festival.
