Prospects of judicial system development
Astana, October 27, 2009 (Khabar) - Judges, jurists, representatives of the state structures discussed prospects of development of judicial system, particularly the requirements of Concept of a legal policy for 2010-2020. Reform of judicial system assumes a lot of the new. For example, creation of specialized Juvenal courts on consideration of criminal and tax affairs.
Musabek Alimbekov, chairman of Supreme Court:
- Many problems to us are created by those disputes which are a consequence of these new economic relations. The quantity of civil cases as a result has sharply increased. If in a former system we did the basic emphasis on criminal legal proceedings at a today's stage of development we do the basic emphasis on development of the civil legislation.
The new status will be given to administrative legal proceedings; rules of selection of judges will become tougher. An alternative form of the decision of disputes is more often applying of arbitration trials.
Akyltai Kasimov, acting as chairman of Civil Department of Supreme Court:
- Certain measures on improvement of legal system of RK are offered. The overall objective, the main task is the real mechanism of protection of the rights of citizens and legal bodies that makes a basis of our society has been provided.
