MAINTAIN INTERGRITY WHEN ON DUTY IN FOREIGN COUNTRY - FEDERAL POLICE CHIEF
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 (Bernama) -- Federal Police Chief Musa Hassan
today reminded the Formed Police Unit (FPU) General Operations Force (PGA) and the United Nations Police (UNPOL) who head to Timor Leste for the United Nations peace keeping mission, to safeguard the integrity of the country.
As representative of the country, they must always abide by the rules and
regulations under the UN flag as well as maintain discipline and ethics when on
duty in a foreign country.
"Do not spoil the good name of the country, the image of the police and
carry out your duties with integrity," he said in his text speech that was read
by deputy director I internal security and public safety Abdul Rahman
Hussin.
One hundred and forty FPU members would leave to Timor Leste in stages
starting Oct 28 and Oct 30.
