Central Asia group formed in British Parliament

London, October 30, 2009 (Khabar)- An all-party Central Asia Group has been formed in the British Parliament and prominent English businessman and member of the Conservative Party, Lord Sheikh is one of the leaders of the group. British Peer Lord Sheikh also said that the crisis will end one day and those vast mineral resources which Kazakhstan possesses will be required again. He also believes the country understands such a policy and does everything for the provision of favorable investment conditions where political stability plays a key role. According to the business leader Eliyar Aliyev, a number of British entrepreneurs and financiers consider Central Asia as a priority investment market. According to Mr Aliyev, the establishment of the Central Asia group in the British Parliament will simplify the integration process both in business and politics.

- Kazakhstan deserves to be praised because it is developing very well. I have been to Almaty a few times and I like the way people live and do business there.

John Collis is an international lawyer and a Central Asian expert. He says Kazakhstan has demonstrated its huge potential in such spheres as the economy, culture and sports. He also named the Republic’s presidency in the OSCE as another great achievement.

John Collis also added that compared to its neighbouring countries, Kazakhstan has developed very well. The country’s political course has a certain balance between the western point of view and oriental mentality.
