Turkic states’ Parliamentary Assembly session will take place in Kazakhstan

Astana, October 30, 2009 (Khabar) - The chairman of the Senate Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev has met with Ramil Gasanov, the General Secretary of the Turkic states’ Parliamentary Assembly. The parties ascertained progressing process in Turkic integration. Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev has noted new initiatives and the geopolitical purposes of the Turkic world defined by IX Summit of Turkic states. The special importance is represented by the offer of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev on creation of Turkic academy within TURKSOI in Astana. Ramil Gasanov has informed the speaker on preparation of next plenary session of TurkPA that is supposed to be spent in Astana.
