Historians offer to create so called museums of steppes
Astana, November 2, 2009 (Khabar) - This initiative was announced by “Nur Otan” party. Specialists say that ancient monuments from sandstone, limestone and granite in Akmola region demand the special attention. Most of them are dedicated to VI – XIII centuries. These exhibits are priceless but nobody guarantees their safety. Scientists are going to create a special reserve with help of “Nur Otan”.
Talgat Ibrayev, director of “Center of protection and using of history-cultural heritage objects”, Akmola region:
- Beautiful places and great nature are located under Kokshetau in deirection to Zerenda. Koshkarbay place is there. Archeological monuments of different times are located there, and we have appealed to “Nur Otan” party to open a reserve there. And now we raise the question on Yerementau area.
