Astana, November 2, 2009 (Khabar) - The official representative of the Ministry has informed that policemen managed to disclose more than a thousand crimes out of 2000 during the week.
The business of drug selling organized criminal grouping has been stopped in Astana. 9 criminal cases are started to proceed.
Also Kuanyshbek Zhumanov has announced the results of “Karakshilik” campaign. The policemen achieved the goal to counteract robbery. 13 out of 15 registered crimes were revealed.
One of the Ministry’s main aims is the strengthening of measures that provide traffic safety.

- The work on uncovering of traffic rules breaking including driving after drinking alcohol, without seat belts and using mobile phones while driving is activated. The control over road police following their duties and the preventing of bribes is strengthened.
