November 10 is World Day of Youth
Aktau, November 11, 2009 (Khabar) - On that day the authorities of Mangistau spoke about the problems of young people. Forum “With diploma to the village” was held in the regional drama theater. The young specialists who now work in villages, addressed the students and said they are not sorry for their decision. Kambar Amantai graduated from the University of Western Kazakhstan in 2008 and he began working at the school in village Akshukur of Mangistau region because the authorities promised to support him.
Kambar Amantai, a village teacher:
- I do not regret I came here. I immediately received travelling expenses and two-room apartment. But this is not the main. Now I am proud I am a teacher. I am pleased to convey all my knowledge to children. I encourage the current students, future professionals to go to work in the village for the benefit of our people.
24 graduates: doctors and teachers received travelling expenses last year in Mangistau region. This year the government decided to allocate funds for young professionals from the national budget.
Zeinulla Kosymbaev, a student at the University of the Caspian technologies and engineering them. Esenova:
- The state now creates all conditions for those who want to work in the villages. And the students know about it. Life in the village is not worse than in the city. When I graduate from the University, I will work in my native village.
375 students received grants of regional governors and study at higher educational institutions of the country now. Young people will return to the village with a diploma. Youth organizations in the region try to do everything possible to entertain rural people.
Nurbek Karassai, director of the regional center of youth policy:
- Since 2009, youth center "Arman" was renamed to the regional center of youth policy and we opened offices in the districts. And our offices in the districts work directly with our kids, who again arrived in the village.
The winners of the contest Zhas Tulpar were awarded during the forum. Winners in nomination "The most hard-working among young people", "Patriot of homeland" and "Future genius received a figure of a winged horse and a cash prize.
