M'SIA CONCERNED WITH ARMED INTRUSION INTO SAUDI ARABIA'S TERRITORY

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia on Monday expressed concern over
the reported armed intrusion into the territory of Saudi Arabia along its border
with Yemen, which led to a deterioration of the security situation in the
area.

Foreign Minister Anifah Aman said Malaysia also recognised
the legitimate right of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the
custodian of the two holy mosques, King Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Saud to defend its
sovereignty and territorial integrity.

"Malaysia also shares the concern of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and others
at the worsening plight of civilians affected by the situation in the area," he
said in a statement here Monday.
