MALAYSIA CAN LEARN MUCH FROM SWEDEN, SAYS ENVOY

STOCKHOLM, Nov 17 (Bernama) -- Malaysia can explore and learn much from
Sweden including in the fields of education and tourism, said Malaysian
ambassador to Sweden Kamarudin Mustafa.

He said that for instance, the Karolinska Institute near here, was one of
the largest and top medical universities in the world.

Kamarudin also looked forward to more Malaysian senior officials visiting
Sweden.

"Malaysia and Sweden have enjoyed good bilateral relations over the years.
This can be strengthened further with more continuous efforts," he told Bernama
when met here recently.

Tourism Minister Ng Yen Yen recently led a promotion mission to
Stockholm to draw Swedes to visit Malaysia during their winter break.
