S. Korea to offer $35 mln in assistance to Cameroon
SEOUL, Nov. 26 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will offer US$35 million worth of aid to
Cameroon to help the African country train industrial workers, the Export-Import
Bank of Korea said Thursday.
The state-run bank said the economic development cooperation fund (EDCF) will be
used to build three new training centers, buy training materials and educate
people that can teach students.
The EDCF support for the western African country is the first of its kind and
could help South Korean businesses expand economic cooperation with the region,
the bank said.
