POLICE TRAINER AIRCRAFT SKIDS PONDOK CABE RUNWAYS

Jakarta, Dec 7 (ANTARA) - An Air Police trainer plane CN 212 skidded the runways when it made a landing at Pondok Cabe airport, South Tangerang, Banten, on Monday.

Deputy Director of Air Police of the National Police Snr Comm. Deddy Fauzi said here on Monday that the incident did not claim any victims or caused injuries to its passengers.

"The plane is neither damage. It even could be tugged quickly to the hanger," he said.

He said that aircraft which was produced by PT Dirgantara Indonesia was conducing a flight exercise, not in the framework of carrying out operations.

"There was a would-be police pilot who was conducting an exercise using the aircraft," he said.
