KSA receives Honorary Award from WB for improving Investment

Riyadh, June 04, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia received an Honorary Award from the World Bank in appreciation of the accelerating steps it has taken in the field of economic reforms and the entry of the KSA into the list of the best ten countries which carried out economic reforms reflected positively on its advance ranking in the report of business performance issued by the WorldBank.

The world financial institution ranked the Kingdom as the best investment environment in the Arab World and the Middle East where itcame in the 23rd position out of 178 countries.

This took place during the WB annual meeting held in the United States of America on Wednesday. Dr. Awad bin Salih Al-Awad , Undersecretary of the Governor of the General Organization for Investment received the prize. --SPA
