New chairman of Karaganda office of “Nur Otan” party

Karaganda, December 09, 2009 (Khabar) - The new chairman of regional office of “Nur Otan” party has been elected in Karaganda conference.
The party members have discussed realization of regional program on corruption fighting. The delegates unanimously endorsed the candidacy of governor of the region, which was suggested by Secretary of the Party “Nur Otan”, Sergey Gromov. Serik Akhmetov became new chairman of the local branch. He immediately put a few specific targets for fighting corruption. In particular, to strengthen the work of party control committee. This mechanism has already recognized as an effective tool in fighting against corruption of different ranks. About 70 public servants were drawn for the disciplinary responsibility. - Society received a clear signal from the authorities the fight against corruption is not selective, and all are equal before the law, regardless of the position and status. And fight against corruption can not be only a matter of state, it must be based on the combined efforts of all sectors of society. And a special role belongs to the “Nur Otan” party in the unification of social forces to combat corruption.

Sergey Gromov, Secretary of "Nur Otan" party:
- Tthese forums just practice the joint action of law enforcement agencies and "Nur Otan" party. Now we have created office party control almost anywhere.
