Astana, December 10, 2009 (Khabar) - Coordination Council of law enforcement structures has considered drug prevention and fighting drugs business. Some ministries and agencies were suggested to intensify their work in this area. Police registered more than 8 thousand crimes related to drugs during ten months. More than 50 thousand drug addicts, among them 3 thousands are teenagers are registered in drug dispensary. The official statistics says the number of adolescent drug abusers is decreasing in recent years. Coordination Council recommended that the Ministry of Education and Science must introduce into the curriculum a course of anti-drug education. And the Ministry of Culture and Information, Tourism and Sport were suggested to bring to the promotion of healthy lifestyles due to known and respected figures of culture and sports.
