VICE PRESIDENT TO INAUGURATE CLEAN WATER PROJECT IN NTB
Mataram, W Nusa Tenggara, June 5 (ANTARA) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla is expected to inaugurate a clean water project in Sumbawa district, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on June 12, 2008, a spokesman said.
NTB Regional Secretary H Abdul Malik MM said here on Thursday that besides officiating the clean water project, the vice president will also visit Syech Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Islamic Boarding School in Anjani East Lombok district.
The vice president is also scheduled to observe a Virginia tobacco plantation center in East Lombok and to attend the opening of a national meeting of the Indonesian Islamic Students Association (KBPII).
In his visit to NTB, the vice president will be accompanied by his wife Mufidah Jusuf Kalla and a number of the United Cabinet ministers as well as officials from the central government.
